I just realized that my new computer has no serial port. Does anyone know if there is a way to convert my interface from serial to USB, or if they are available in a USB form [jamiei? you make a usb one?]

Good thought, but I don't think they have pcmcia serial cards [it's a laptop]
I could be wrong, but I couldn't find any on a quick search.
I believe you are correct. I don't know of any serial cards for laptops.

Spectre, the usb adapter is what you need to get. It could be possible to put a usb plug on an interface like mine, but you would still need the drivers that come with the adapter so your best bet is to buy the adapter... The price from the above link is a good one as well... thanks for the link
