Does anyone have experience replacing a Suunto Fusion diver computer battery? Also, if anyone has a manual, that would be appreciated as well.

I picked this up second hand. Due to the age, I am not willing to invest a ton into repairing the dead battery and will replace it myself. If I destroy the unit in the process that is okay.

I have replaced Suunto dive computer batteries before so familiar with the overall process. Just looking for the manuals and any quirks for this model

Thank you!

I have one that looks just like that, but I went and look and mine is a Favor, not Fusion. I have a battery and o-rings that I ordered for mine a couple years ago but never installed. I probably should order a fresh battery if I ever decide to use it.
The face looks the same so I'd guess that it's the same battery and o-ring
This is what I ordered (but like I said I have not verified it works)

I'm pretty sure the o-rings are the right size... ordered based on measuring the old one with digital calipers

I'd be happy to send you some of the o-rings. I doubt that I'll ever need a hundred of them :)

If you strike out with finding the Fusion manual, I'll bet mine is close enough to get the gist. I think there are only minor differences between the models. I could scan of my manual

According to google

"The Suunto Favor and Suunto Fusion dive computers are essentially the same, with the Fusion offering a few extra features for a higher price. The primary difference is that the Fusion has a backlight and audible alarms, while the Favor does not. Both computers share the same dive algorithm and function as wrist-mounted dive computers with time and date features. "

ok, so amazon links don't work here... (that's the big space in my post...)
so trying again,

the o-rings are:

023 Buna-N O-Ring, 70A Durometer, Black, 1-1/16" ID, 1-3/16" OD, 1/16" Width (Pack of 100)

The battery is:

EEMB CR 1/2 AA Series Lithium 3 V 900 mAh Cylindrical Battery CR14250BL 14250SE Not Rechargeable for Scuba Diving Electronics Specialized Laboratory Equipment UL Certified

The Owners Manual indicates the required O-ring and battery. The O-ring is indeed a BS1806-023 (26.7mm x 1.78mm) in 70 Shore A.

The schematics for the Favor, which is virtually identical, show how it gets taken apart.
