You might want to take a look at DiveLogDT for MacOS and DiveLog for iOS. DiveLogDT will import your old logbook information from DM5, and also download your D9. It will also WiFi sync with DiveLog for iOS. Log your dive on your iPhone on site and then merge in your D9 dive computer data later when you're back at your Mac.

Or for an extra fee, purchase the DiveNav DCbuddy and use DiveLog for iOS to download your D9 directly.

Thanks Janice. Questions:

1. The iOS app is dive log (two words) right?

2. The app is $11. Does it support iPad and can retrieve Suunto data from Divelog DT Mac version? Or is there an additional fee (in app purchase) to support iPad and data from Suunto Dc?

3. How much is divelog DT for Mac?

4. Can't find Divenav DCbuddy on the Apple Store. Can you kindly provide more info on this? I assume this is a hardware and app combo to allow direct download of Suunto DC to the app?

Thanks again. The app screen shots look good.

Dive Computer Buddy (DCBuddy) is hardware interface box that will connect many dive computers to any device (computer, ios android ect.) running compatible software and compatible Bluetooth. The box its self is the same box for all the DC's just the interface cable changes for different models, manufacturers. So if you have different or change computers all you have to do is get a different cable.

DCBuddy is made by Divenav "http://www.divenav.com" and costs about $100.

Yes that's correct - search for "Dive Log" in the iTunes app store or:
https://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=301049600&mt=8

2. The app is $11. Does it support iPad and can retrieve Suunto data from Divelog DT Mac version? Or is there an additional fee (in app purchase) to support iPad and data from Suunto Dc?

Dive Log for iOS is available worldwide. In the USA App Store, it is $11.99 USD. It is a universal app which means that it will run on all iOS devices including iPhones, iPad's, and iPod touches. The way the app store pricing works is that you can install it on any device that uses the same Apple ID. Also, if you do the Family Sharing service, you can install it on any device in your "family". So you just purchase it once. It will synchronize with DiveLogDT via WiFi and it will also synchronize different iOS devices via iCloud.

3. How much is divelog DT for Mac?

DiveLogDT can be found in the Mac App Store worldwide and is $24.99 USD in the USA store. Search for the name or:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dive-log-dt/id411603212?mt=12

claymore has answered this nicely. yes, it's an extra bit of hardware that connects via serial port to your e.g.: D9 on one side and via Bluetooth LE to an iOS app e.g.: Dive Log on the other side. You would purchase it directly from DiveNav as the link below shows.

Feel free to contact us directly if you have any other questions.
