The tradition started last year. Divers, families, and friends converging on Crescent Bay / Laguna Beach over Memorial weekend. The Mission: Dive, frolic, eat, build sandcastles, snorkel, play frisbee, dive, relax, dive, read a book, dive, sunbathe, dive. Did I say DIVE?
So, announcing the Not-So-Official .
***** 2007 MEMORIAL WEEKEND DIVING & FAMILY DAY *****
Throw out your day planners and blackberrys. Pack up the wife, husband, girlfriend, grandpa, rugrats, neighbor, best buddies, long lost uncles...and set your GPS for Crescent Bay beach in Laguna. Meet new friends and local divers. And enter for a chance to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS (well, we're still working on that part)
DATE: Sunday, May 27th
TIME: All Day. First Dive around 7:30am but show up anytime. Dive early and have others come later if you like.
PLACE: Somewhere towards the middle of Crescent beach. Well put up a dive flag.
BRING: Food & beverage, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, scuba & snorkel gear, suntan lotion, towels, camera, extra tanks, and other beach comforts.
DONT BRING: BBQs. Not allowed by the city. EZ-Ups have a severe height limitation as well (I think 5' max)
Sand is Limited so don't delay. Show your OC Diving spirit and join us for a great day of fun in the sun. Hope to see you there.
