Suggestions on Where to go from Iloilo

I am in the beginning phase of plannning a trip to Phillipines in Feb. I will be landing in Iloilo to pick up a non diving friend. I have about 10 days to tour. Would love to see some Whale sharks and Mantas. Also would like to see some of the big schools. Prefer staying put or possibly 2 spots with a departure from Iloilo. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Your non diving friend might like to lie on the beach, Boracay should be opened by then.

Catch the ferry from Iloilo to Bacolod and bus to Sipalay. There are several dive resorts in the area eg Artistic.

The Dive House is a great place. Built and owned by my very good friend, Boy Saldana.
I started diving there in the 90s. We would rent small bankas to take us out to Nogas Isle.
