Suggestions for SE Asia adventure

I am very much considering doing this. Just trying to get the visa situation sorted out. If anyone else has suggestions please let me know!

Go to Ko Tao, Thailand for some diving,

If you want good diving, there are many places in SE Asia that offer a lot better diving than Koh Tao, which is fine for an open water course.

What time of year are you looking at?

unfortunately, I'll be there in June. I would like something a little more out of the than Ko Tao, I hear the sites can get a little crowded there...

How about Komodo?

Yes, Flores and Alor were what has been suggested in the previous threads, and if we go to Flores I will definitely be diving Komodo. As mentioned though, my buddy is a brand new divers and I worry about the currents. Thanks!

How about climbing Mount Kinabalu in Borneo ?
