Suggestions for August Meet and Greet dates and a Location

Called Sharkey's today and they said there was no one there to help me. They said for me to call back tomorrow after lunch and they would see what they could do for us. So I will do my best to give them a call tomorrow. Will let you know as soon as I can. Its going to be a blast.

Scuba Jenny humm never thought of that. Just let us know when your going to be in the area. Would love to see you if you can make the meet and greet.

Chiming in late here..
Was hoping ya'll would pick Labor day weekend. Would love to do some diving and a meet n greet would just add to the fun..Otherwise, probably won't make it. Weekend of 9/11 is out for me. Have fun ya'll whatever you decide!

Well got a hold of sharkey's today and reserved the top deck for our Meet and Greet. They said they would have a waitress up there just for us. She informed me normally month of Sept its slow but I need to call her and let her know how many people would be attending. Well I have decieded after getting calls from everyone that I'm sorry to cancel this. People dont want to do a two weekends back to back. So I'm sorry for causing any inconvenience. Thanks for all of your efforts in setting up a LOCAL meet & greet. It is a shame that others that can't make the previously agreed on and planned meet & greets just schedule their own with no regard for possible conflicts with an already planned event. I guess Venice Fossil Divers are not a part of the "Conch Clique".

I don't understand. Fossil Babe deserves a b-day celebration. Why is someone else driving this? Lee and I were going to drive down to be there to celebrate with her and everyone. Come on people -- Fossil Babe should have all her friends around her to celebrate the big day!

I jumped in to dive with Jenny because I was planning on diving that weekend anyway. I was also planning on doing the meet & greet as well. There was no conscious attempt to snub anybody. I've already apologized to Debra & told her that I just didn't think. Somebody wants to dive, I'm game. If ya'll want to still do a meet & greet & birthday bash on 9/11..........I'm there! But please, don't think that this is something I deliberately did to sabatoge the event.

We can celebrate everyones birthday that weekend of the Labor Day Beach dive and feast. I dont want to leave out the northportdiver as well. So we can hang out with friends and everyone celebrate each others b-day. Capt Jamies b-day is this (month around august) as well so it should be a blast.

We know that Girlfriend our friendship cant be broken!!!! NEVER You are awesome and love ya. I feel the same way if everyone wants to dive thats more important in my book. . So everyone going try to save some teeth for me!!!!!! See everyone on the beach after my dives. Just need to know where we going to meet. Which location? So we can get this ball rolling.
