Sept 11 is a maybe for me...I'm DMing a Bayronto charter the next day and will probably have tanks to fill and last minute details to attend to.

Well lets meet at sharkey's in Venice. I think its a great idea and a central location for everyone to meet since most of you will be diving there over the weekend. If this is ok I will make the plans for us. Let me know!!!!!
Sharkeys sounds like a fine choice. If enough people RSVP maybe we can reserve the upper deck.

I'm going to host a Meet-'n-Greet in Bradenton on Saturday, August 22nd at a local Thai restaurant with some local divers and a few soon-to-be's.. If anyone would like to make this the "August meeting" feel free to show up.. 
The food is very good and they do have beer, etc.
Location: Thai Lotus Restaurant
3633 Cortez Rd. West
(in plaza behind McDonalds)
Bradenton, FL 34210
Restaurant open from 5pm-9:30pm with friends set to arrive between 5:30 and 6:00. My girlfriend will be singing and if there is interest they might allow an open microphone if we have any musically talented folks in the audience.. Computer feeding the audio setup has around 9300 song titles in it if you want to karaoke.. hehe..
Just say you are "Here with Brent" and they'll point you in the right direction...
Unfortunately I'm out of town until the 19th and will not be able to make the Sharky's meeting.
I'll be posting an announcement for this Meet-n'-Greet in it's own thread on main Florida Conchs - if you'll be able to make it please let me know there, thanks.

I would like to come to the meet and greet! I think JoyfulLee would too! We really had a good time in Venice. Thank you Fossilbabe and Jamie.
Here is a link of my stomping grounds. Its a back woods location where Joy and I are getting on a "fossil hunting dive boat" this comming Sunday. Maybe one day we can have a meet and greet here. Check out my map and fossil dive locations.

I'm going to call them tomorrow. With school and work I've been very busy. I hate test,:nailbiter: The good news is I passed my exams and I'm a level 2 inspector now.

Was hoping ya'll would pick Labor day weekend. Would love to do some diving and a meet n greet would just add to the fun..Otherwise, probably won't make it. Weekend of 9/11 is out for me. Have fun ya'll whatever you decide!
