Anna Maria Island. Not too far from you. It is shore dive. Not too shabby and you can usually find a sea horse or two out there :)

Snorkel boat to Egmont Key?? Out of where? Never heard of such a thing. Spanich Rocks is just south of your loc from Egmont.

With the East coast just a few short hours away, give yourself a gift, and go do a nice boat dive on the other coast (check the forecast AHEAD).

For new divers, I'm not sure there is anywhere better than the shallow, relatively current free reefs in the upper Keys! :D

The boat leaves out of Fort DeSoto its a big green catamaran.... well not that big 48 passagers. Called the Egmont Ferry... Fun trip for the day

How does someone land a job on a snorkal boat? I never saw that booth on Career Day.

Sounds like a nice gig, eh? They keep the good ones a secret.

They must. That job and the one where I sit home and do nothing and get a fat salary for doing nothing. I would take either one. I am not picky.

It is such a sweet gig!! I get to go diving with manatees all the time and play in the water..... what i do best :) You guys are more then welcome to come on out just let me know and ill get you out there..... Get to even catch a few tarpoon landings on the way in..... Its better then ESPN!!!
