Not happy with storms. Tryed to go to Spanish Rocks yesterday. Got up before the crack of dawn...picked up a friend of mine and headed to Anna Marie so we could be in the water at sunrise. We got out there and it was wayyyyy to rough. 2-3ft swells winds I would say 4-8 mph. So we loaded up and headed back home.

I'm new to diving and just recently purchased my own equipment...and it hasn't seen water yet. So I was very disapointed. I hate storms.

I agree. We got blown out today....:(

MissD and I dived spanish rocks on Sunday. It was rough, strong surge @20', and vis was in the 2-3' range....at least we still got @2hrs bottom time on two dives - but no pics.

I probably would have dne the rocks anyway. It's only rough on the surface.

i dove spanish rocks on saturday and the vis was dropping the longer i was out there. i still would have dove it with rough conditions today cause it would have been better than sitting in my office.

Yea besides it's a 20' dive if you swim out under you still have loads of air....and any dive is better than no dive. You need to look at things like that as new and exciting challanges

With Spanish Rocks being that close to shore the dive would have been miserable had you made. Viz most certainly would have been zero.
