stupid lobster question

k after I bag up some bugs on my trip to Catalina, and I have to return atleast 1 to my SO at home who is so graciously letting me go diving next weekend. What is the best way to keep the lobster for a few days? throw it in freezer @ hotel, throw it on ice, or just buy one on the way home?

A few days? Freeze the whole bug in a block of ice. Keeping it cold and wet will work for 48 hours, anything after that is freezer territory.

ok so throw it in a big freezer bag and chuck it in the freezer
