here about the diver stranded in the water for 5 hours? was found in oc and he dove in la! Kinda scary. lucky for him the boy scouts were there

He was left at the Eureka oil rig, which is offshore from Newport. He drifted 3 miles or so away from it and was found by the crew of the Argus. The CG was not looking for him there because he was reported missing at the Ace I wreck approximately 7 miles south of Long Beach. which is where he was believed to have been lost.

ohhh... the newspaper said he drifetd for 5 hours and from la to oc.
