A most unusual storm track, they usually pass 30+ miles to the North.

Looks like the West & North will take the brunt, a historical pattern, Going to be a sucky week or a Bay Islands vacay, a healthy tropical storm, not likely a great danger, but rum sales will spike.

About the worst of it for Roatan, the Roatan Divers cam is offline, the Bananarama cam is knocked cockeyed, but comparative calm at Coco View on South side.

Whew, that was close.

Look at Belize! Oh, man.

Not looking good for Belize

We're at Cocolobo this week. Went diving yesterday and then they put the boats into a safe harbor. West End was "officially closed" as of 6pm last night with no one supposed to be on the road, stores closed with quite a few boarded up. Did not lose power last night and barely heard the wind/rain. Went for a walk this morning and it's windy and the waves are hitting the road in a few places, but nothing like what they were expecting. Apparently the track shifted north. Expecting rain/wind for the rest of the day, hope to dive tomorrow but we'll see.

Note the clear skies by the clarity of the mountains 50-60+ miles away. I’m betting those are Monkey LaLas in their hands.

the effects of Lisa’s passing are not yet over. Diving will be pretty awful through this week, i would find a place to (kind’a) dry my gear and begin to drink furiously.
