Hi Fellow Divers,
I guess first of all I should introduce myself! I am Chaz Kafer the owner of Divers Den and have been involved with this business since 1972 in a variety of capacties from instructor/ commercial diver and since 1995 an owner/ partner.
Quite frankly I am a silent partisipant on Scubaboard as I view a lot of the content to be of value to many people. I in the same breath believe that everyone one is entitled to an opinion and I do not have to agree with them.
Today I have a major concern to ask that who ever or whom ever is spreading rumors that this business is closing or going out of business cease there diaolog. I tend to try not be a visious person but I will say if I find out who is involved and it continues I will take every legal action possible againist you and your company if that is the case.
Diving is a beautiful recreation and trying to disrupt a persons livelyhood is not something I would expect from people who enjoy the underwater world as I do.
But be sure I will find these person and do it quietly.
For those persons that chose our facilty to do business I certainly thank you for you patronage and trusting us with the selection of your equipment/ repairs and travel.
Good Diving to All

Chaz:

Which Divers Den are you affiliated with? I know of several unrelated businesses by that name.

Douglas

We are located in Baltimore, Maryland been at this location for 51 years in June. Sorry I wasn't a little more clear as I know there are Divers Den's everywhere.
Also I am not trying to promote this business in this forum, just stop the non sense and rumors

Chaz,
Glad to hear you are alive and well. Did not know you are a partner in the buisness now. You were my instructor back in your NASDS days. (1983) You were teaching with a guy by the name of Dave but I can't remember his last name. Take care. We'll take good Care of Terry for you when she starts diving with us at the aqurium.

Mike J.

I don't get up your way to often - primarily diving Virginia to the south side of the equator now a days - Divers Den in FL has worked on some of my equipment hence the original question. Thank's for letting us know you're alive and well.
