The following gear was stolen from Leo Carillo State Beach this
late morning from the inside of a locked and alarmed F250 truck
parked in the lower lot. We hard the alarm go off, but by the
time I got to the truck, the window was smashed and the gear gone.

If anyone sees any of the following gear, either in use or for
sale, please drop me a line. I am offering generous rewards for
legitimate leads in the final recovery of said gear. All
collected information will be turned over to the LASD.

Here's the list;

SCUBAPRO Jet Fins - XL w/original Jackie Smith spring straps.
The fins are well paint marked in yellow and white with TMAY.
The spring straps have TMAY and a CA driver's license number
engraved into the aluminum anchors for the springs themselves.

2 (two) Uwatec bottom timers. Both mounted in hockey-puck
style consoles with bungie straps to hold on the wrist. Both
items are engraved with a CDL number.

Apeks TX50 regulator set, primary on 7' long hose. Second
stages paint marked with TMAY and CDL number, first stage
engraved with TMAY and CDL number. Fitted with a full length HP
hose and SCUBAPRO SPG (also engraved).

Apeks TX50 O2 regulator paint marked with TMAY and CDL
number, first stage engraved with TMAY and CDL number. Fitted
with 8” HP hose and SCUBAPRO SPG (also engraved).

Scubapro MK25/G250 regulator set. A single second stage also
on a 7’ hose. Second stage paint marked with TMAY and CDL
number, first stage engraved with TMAY and CDL number. No
HP hose or gauge. The first stage is trimmed in green and yellow
plastic – it was originally O2 cleaned for EAN40+.

Halcyon SS back plate w/Pioneer 36# wing with updated metal
housed LPI. The plate is fully rigged with SCUBAPRO SS buckles
for the waist strap and light canister restraint. Also has SS
tank strap buckles. There are also empty slip-in weight pouches
on the waist strap.

Halcyon 80# closed lift bag w/SS clip was packed inside a
Stealth Pack back pad. The plate is fully rigged with 2
SCUBAPRO SS buckles for the waist strap and light canister
restraint.

1 (one) 150' and 1 (one) 100’ Halcyon delrin spools with 1
SS clip on each (2 total).

Extreme Exposure Pro 6 HID light with canister. Light head had
a Corona beer cozy on it for protection. With the light was also
the wall wart charger for the battery. The light canister has
TMAY paint marked on it. The canister and the head were
engraved with my CDL number was well.

Apollo Prestige mask, blue two window frame with blue/turquoise
Silent Submersion slap strap. Paint marked with TMAY.

SCUBAPRO Scout mask, black two window frame with blue/turquoise
Silent Submersion slap strap. Paint marked with TMAY.

40 cubic foot Catalina AL deco bottle, rigged for left
shoulder/belt D-ring mounting. Silver tank With 3” high OXYGEN
lettering in black. Tank was near empty.

There were also some small red and yellow mesh gear tote bags,
a couple green game bags, a large translucent parts box full of
o-rings/batteries/zip ties/reg parts/hoses with various
wrenches and tools, a Boy Scout style compass on a bungie cord
attached to a SS clip, and a small wooden handled steak knife
in the bag as well. I would not expect to recover any of these
things, just though I’d give a complete description in case
anyone tries to sell you “a bag full of gear”.

With the exception of the stage bottle, all of this equipment
was inside a newer black Stahlsac gear bag with wheels.

They left the steel LP 95 and HP 120 tanks. They also left
behind my wetsuit, booties, and gloves lying outside in the
bed drying out.

I fortunately have backup gear for most of what was taken.

Remember, rewards are offered!

Condolences to Terry. I'll keep my ear to the tracks.

Damn thieving bastards!!! The Muslims had the right idea about amputation of thieves' hands.

Agreed!

Don, totally sucks... feel for you. I'll keep an eye out.

The gear in the picture is clearly not the stolen gear
