Hi

I had a very bad experience my first dive mask didn't fit lots of leakage, weight belt fell off, and 23yo buddy (instructor) grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me where he wanted to go... sounds like I'd never do it again right...
Wrong... I'm itching to get back to it With improvements I make myself

Before I could begin my life underwater, I was a physical wreck, one leg, broken back, hip, shattered left arm. Well now I have a prosthetic, walk well back fixed, 5 oz titanium... arm repaired with moderate loss of motor control...

in the mean time I've added several lifetimes of experience

I've passed the medical so I'm good, I'm in fair shape working on better

I've read everything I can find on diving, I've researched gear and certification agencys

so this is where I'm at
Now at 49 I'm looking to get wet.

now wife needs knees.. she has expressed an interest so I wait, but it's ok I'm busy

Well this is my meet and greet

I have questions so any help I can get I'd really appreciate

welcome to the board! Hope u find all the answers that u need. By your wife needing knees, I assume u mean replacement. Being in the Water is great exercise. but can be tough on weak knees. Good luck! I just finished my cert classes with SSI. Have my checkouts this weekend. Can't wait!
