Has anyone heard of Stellwagen bank and the diving there? I am wondering, if it is a marine sanctuary then is it also a popular dive destination? Any ideas how one can dive there?

Thanks -

There is some great wreck diving in Stellwagen at a variety of depths. Northern Atlantic Dive Expeditions (Heather Knowles and Dave Caldwell) have done a lot of work out there and run there regularly. Cape Ann Charters (Daybreaker) also runs out there on a regular basis along with Cape Ann Divers on occasion. Due to the distance charter costs are often more expensive.

Northern Atlantic Dive Expeditions has some good information on the wrecks on their site as well as the NOAA site.
