I am setting up my own set of twins and was wondering whether I need to prevent contact between the aluminium tanks and the stainless steel twinning bands and, if so, what the best way of achieving this might be?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

TD

Thanks Packhorse,

That's what I figured; galvanic effect would cause sacrificial corrosion of the aluminium. Innertube it is then.
