Serial No. The buffing happens when you bathe them. Aluminum. orbital sander, stripper and pick for stamps. Steel. fine stainless brush lots of circles and moisture, grey muck becomes silver.
 
The methylene stripper will take the paint off and not hurt the galvinizing. As long as there are no breaks in the zinc galvinize, no additional coatings are needed.
 
Take pictures as it goes? And post here as you progress?

What will you use to strop paint off the tanks? I have a few AL80s I would like the paint removed.
