I have a pre dive checklist, that we run through, Pressure, inflators working, gas levels, etc etc. before decending and after all unit checks are performed.

I am thinking about an extra checklist i can put on a small slate and attach to the DSV, that says dont die check o2 is on, and bailout is on and functioning.

This would be a final final checklist that before decending i can complete and move to my butt D ring.

Does anyone have anything like this? What do you have on yours?

I realise it shouldnt be neccasary if you complete a thorough pre dive drill but im just trying to be extra safe as a new CCR diver....

My dive group has adopted the CCR splash check as demonstrated in this video:

Everyone does their checks following their check list (if they use one) as they normally do, when divers are ready to dive the deck team run through the pre splash check. I find it works very well, it makes doubly sure everyone is ready to dive

And if Jill is not doing it for you

and even if Jill IS doing it for you
