OT: OMG Caloy. Was just looking at your profile. and all this time, I didn't know you work at BSP as an examiner! Maybe I can convince my bank on expensing a "business trip" to Manila w/ a sidetrip to Anilao to discuss the [ahem] condition of the Filipino banking system... LOL I'll write my questions down on my slate...
well try to buy a waterproof calculator so you can track your expenses even at depth. hehehe

Yes I've been working at the BSP for the last 20 years. The pay is very good...thats why I can dive every other week. Do hope we can meet up in Manila for drinks if not for some diving.

OT: saw your ads for the Stilleto. IMHO, the price is little high, you can get a BP/W here in Manila for the same amount (ask Axua) unless the Stilleto was made in North Korea! Now that would be a collectors item especially if it was worn by our "Dear Leader". All the best, I hope you get a gud offer though.

A canon A-95 with internal flash and a UK C8 light:D . But I'm saving up for strobe though; maybe an Inon or an ikelight.

Really nice pics guys. My favorites were the nudi pose, the close-up angle of the giant clam and of course - Jonix’s hairdo (now that's a keeper). Your pictures look very clear even without the strobe.

Speaking of strobes, where do you intend to buy one? My dive instructor tried ordering an Inon D2000W for me in Japan but said its currently out of stock there and back-order will take at least 3-4 weeks. I should've bought in SG last December but I was afraid I'd be taxed and that it would be more expensive (turns out I was wrong on that). Anyway, do you know a shop here that can order it and not charge too much for freight?

pards, you're more than welcome to join. You can hitch a ride with Jon. As of now you too are on the same boat or should I say predicament......"enough diving!" jon's wife said. You can pick...Love of my life or Dive, its my life.

Great pics. I really like the one with the reef fishes. Reminds me of beautiful colored confetti flying around

OT: I might have met one of your directors last year from the bank examination dept. will have to dig thru my business cards from that trip.

Yeah it (the stiletto) is pricey but within the budget of a BSP bk examiner ... will likely just toss it up on ebay in the states soon...

CLA: the prices on Inon's in HK is pretty competitive (and no tax...). I forget the exact price but I bought my D-2000 for about the same as it would cost to buy in Japan plus shipping. Diving Adventure carries Inon in HK (www.divinghk.com). I would think shipping from HK to PI would be inexpensive... edit: I think they might have the D-2000W's in stock now.

Koya / Papa Kanor... really really great pictures, all taken in Patay na Buli? Not frequented much, but creatures there are awesome eh? When will I produce good pictures like those. I've only started taking photos...
