Last dive in PG in this trip.
Horse Head. But not during the ebb tide(low) so went to Canyons instead of waiting for the flood tide(high).
Horse Head(36m) and Fish Bowl(40m at the ledge) is a good acid test for any guide. Will have to wait for my next schedule visit in Oct.
Vis was suck but current was more or less non existence. Greeted by several barracuda and school of Jack. Canyons was not at its best because of lack of current ie. less lively!!!! Nothjng is perfect.
Heavy rain for the last couple days might have affected the vis.

Overheard a conservation about Atlantis! Cannot verify the accuracy of it so better not saying g any more. Only time will tell.

Hi everyone,

I’ll be in Anilao from Nov 8–15, 2025. It’s my first time diving there, so I’m not sure which dive center would be a good fit for me.

There will be two of us (me and a female friend), just friends, so if accommodation is available, we’d need two single beds.

Regarding diving, I’m mostly interested in macro, maybe just night dives, and during the day we plan to explore on land.

Does anyone have recommendations for dive centers that would suit these needs? Thanks a lot!

Anilao is well known for macro.
ASDC has only double bed(P1,500.00).
Night dive? Should try the "Black water diving".
There are numerous threads on Anilao in SB.

Conclusion on this trip to PG.
The operator is ok but I won't go back again. There are several reasons eg. Inexperienced divers were allocated to the group. Not a word from the dive guide when first turned up in the morning. The pre dive briefing was so brief, might as well not bother at all.
If the dive rate is important then......there are better one.

Batangas Pier to ASDC.
1. Trike to Batangas Grand Terminal, P200.00 for two.
2. Jeepney to Mabini, P70.00pp.
3. Trike to ASDC, P100.00

Missed the lunch so have to eat somewhere else. "SHACK" Kitchen in Saltitude is only 100m down the road and the pasta was good.
The room is very basic and there is no where to hang up anything. No hot water, the filter of the AC has not been cleaned for weeks if not months.
Anyone looking for comfort should stay somewhere else eg. Saltitude.

Diving tomorrow.
