Whatever kind of little critter this is, it was determined to defend its rock at San Antonio Point, San Carlos, MX.

It is a freckled hawkfish. They usually sit peched on top of corals or rocks and swoop down (like a hawk) if they see a prey (shrimp or small fish).

I used to have one in my aquarium.
