Any thoughts on stainless steel dive knives versus titanium? SS will hold an edge longer but may be more particular on rusting and corrosion while titanium won't rust but is generally softer.
 
I use both, prefer titanium for the lack of corrosion although many SS knives are great in this aspect too.

I don’t care for razor sharp anyway and prefer a blunt tip for drysuit diving.

You need to clarify.......Are you diving in Freshwater or Saltwater?
 
I want my dive knives to be cheap commodities that are sharp enough, safe to use, and widely available. For me, that means the DIR sawed-off SS steak knives, like this one. Instead of 1 specialty titanium dive knife with a specialty sheath, buy half a handful of these simple ones from DGX. Or, take a couple out of your kitchen drawer and use a dremel or angle grinder to round off the tip.
