Mrxray, Hetland and myself woke up on Friday morning after our awesome dive on the Oriskany the day before. After a little discussion we decided to head on over to the St Andrews Jetties. Once we arrived, we headed over for a quick look and the kiddie pool and channel looked blue. We asked some divers on their SI about the viz and we were told it to be around 10ft. We later found this to be an inaccurate report. The viz was more like 25 to 30. On our first dive we entered the water at 11:31am to a max depth of 39ft for 75 min with a minimum temp of 69 deg. On our second dive we entered the water at 1:40pm to a max depth of 50ft for 66 minutes with a minimum temp of 68 deg. I enjoyed the hell out of these dives as the tropicals and color are coming back. On the second dive I was able to see for the first time not only one but three batfish. As soon as Vimeo is finished, I will upload the video. After our dives we picked up some cheese burgers and headed back to Vortex to strart the crawfish boil.

Jason, some really, really good macro shots. It is so good to see visibility getting better at the jetties.

Thanks, I am glad the viz is picking up too.:D

Beautiful pics Jason! The colors are amazing! It makes me want to get back out there!
