SSI Platinum Pro 5000 Award presented to Sharon Conner of Agressor Fleet

At the recent DEMA Show, Doug McNeese, CEO of Scuba Schools International. (SSI) presented the most prestigious award in the diving world to Sharon Conner of Aggressor & Dancer Fleets.. The SSI Platinum Pro 5000 Award has been given to fewer than 1,000 divers worldwide. Most divers will never begin to amass the award’s simple, basic requirements: At least 5,000 dives or at least 2,500 dives and a significant contribution to the world of diving. This award is considered a “Who’s Who” in the scuba world, since a lifetime commitment to diving is necessary to earn you the ultimate C-card, the Platinum Pro 5000. Sharon helps Agressor Fleet and Dancer Fleet participate on Scubaboard. Congratulations, Sharon!

Remember Bill you must have two SSI Platinum Pro 5000 Award winners to recommend you...Rather difficult to find a SSI Platinum Pro 5000 who dives at the Dive Park. You also must provide proof of 5000 dives..aka a log book--Go for it!

I received mine in 1993, my son Dr Sam IV received his about 7 years ago. At that time we were one of the three Father -Sons in the world who had received the Platinum Pro 5000 award.

Not to derail the thread since its focus is on Sharon's accomplishment. Yes, I'm aware of the two recommendations required... I know enough Platinum Pro 5000 recipients that that shouldn't be a problem, Sam.
