SSI Pathways/Prerequisites

Hi Guys,

I'm seeking advice from someone who has a good knowledge on the pathways and prerequisites of courses offered by SSI.

Currently, I am Open Water certified with SSI and working on completing my Advanced Open Water (including Nitrox training).

In future, I would like to complete the Extended Range course, but I'm not quite sure what the prerequisites are for the course.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Aaron, You should ask this question in the SSI section Also, have you checked the SSI website? I think the Extended Range course requires a high number of logged dives, it's nothing you can just jump to after AOW.

Go to the SSI web site (SSI :: SSI Scuba Schools International :: take your dive @ diveSSI.com). Then download the "SSI Training and Dealer Standards 2012" corresponding to your local region.
There you will find the answers to your questions.
