Hi there,

I'm thinking about buying an Oxycheq rig for holiday-diving in tropical waters. Up to now I'm diving a Cressy J111R BC which is great under water but quite bulky and heavy above.

After some time of research I think that the Oxycheq stuff would serve my needs better than most others:cool2:.

I think of a Mach V wing with 30 or 40lb (I'm diving in a 5mm wetsuit and with 12lb lead), backplate (but which one?) and the hog-harness.

Now my question: The SS Travel Backplate and the ULTBP seem both to be quite nice for the traveling diver. But what are the pros and cons of both - except weight? Are there any?
