^^ I have never seen those before... care to post a picture?

I know they are standard on one of those $300k cars (forget the name) but its so the logo on the rims is always facing up. figure that any spinner rim could be modified (take all but one weight out)
i'll try to find a pic/info

I want to be able to spin my tires, not spin phony hubcaps. Besides, for the cost of a good set, I could probably get most of a week of diving in Key Largo!

My real concern (whine) is what if someone comes racing up to his girlfriend's house, jumps out, the wheels still spinning, and a kid sticks their hand or finger into the shinney spinning rim, just like kids did when fans were unprotected

No offense.. but if a kid is sticking his hand in a spinning car tire...

... might as well get the darwinism out of the way.

How right you are!

In my days, we put our money into the Engine, Drivetrain and Suspension. Sure we put on a good paint job and had larger tires for extra traction and had a desent sound system. But from what I see today, it's all plastic junk and flashing lights. Absolutely NO power and poor handling, I wouldn't give them the steam off of my pee for one of those gutless rolling candy boxes.

BTW, I still have my 1965 Chevy Impala. 350 LT1 Engine c/w super charger and ram scoop, 2 speed turboglide transmission (unbreakable), 373 full posi rear end, ladder bars, roll cage, and so on. Take it out in the summer and put all the rice rockets and rice rocket wannabes to shame every time! :dazzler1:

Why must everything be designed for kids? Why should I have to be denied something I enjoy just because someone's brat might get hurt? Give little Johnny a smack on the butt and tell him to have more respect for the property of others.

Er - is that why they came up with the 'Chevette'?
Doh! :11:

Hey, every car maker has their wall of shame!

You've never seen my "chebby" have you?

Don't take it out that much anymore. Only 6 miles per gallon and I ALWAYS get pulled over. Even when driving like a nun!
