Looking to buy a spg and compass (recently got wrist dive computer). I eventually will go nitrox in the future.....very few spg say nitrox compatable....is there any difference between the two, or is air pressure just pressure? Can anybody recomend a decent spg...thx

Pressure is pressure as far as measuring.

For recreation (40% O2 max) being O2 clean is not required. Since the SPG is not exposed to pure O2 in any form of blending it is on like a cylinder.

arbin, what Pete said is right. You can use any spg with any mix up to 40%. Mixes higher than that should have dedicated regs and spgs.
