I don't see that as the main problem in BD's posts although it does get old. The real problem is the inability to provide objective rational to so many of his claims of "best".

Do you really want to cast stones?
It seems that you have passed the IQ test that Beaver Divers is biased towards Scubapro, but I think you may need to work on your reading skills.

What's % of infinit is 788 posts? Seriously, the constant spamming without being a business sponsor and posting in the Hot Deals forum is what's getting old to me.
Oh, that's right... you can't have a ScubaPro hot deal due to their MAP policies. Seriously though? Why would I care that you are "my" online "platinum" dealer. I'm going to get the same stuff from LeisurePro if that's what I really want.

And just what does it mean to be a Scubapro Platinum Dealer? I believe it means a primary gear selection limited to just one manufacturer Thus limiting option a available to the customer. It also means lower wholesale prices for the dealer - unfortunately, dealer agreements often prevent those savings from being passed on to customers.

I to have wondered that but I figure the French navy wasn't doing too much by 1943 so their officers probably had some spare time.

Generally speaking, the one parameter where one can usually find other manufacturers' products are better is price. A recent example came up in another thread. That thread addresses the Scubapro Frameless in comparison with the ScubaMax Frameless. I have both and if it were two $30 masks, I would pick the Scubapro version as just looking like a better made mask. But the quality difference is far from overwhelming. The price difference, OTOH, is at $30 versus $120. Why don't you pick a product?
