Hi folks. So I flooded my camera (user error, boo.) and am looking to replace it. Anyone have any good ideas where to find an sp-350 other than ebay? It's getting harder to find them now...

Thanks,

Dano

Totally discontinued. Most places sold out of them long ago. Ebay may be your only hope.

Thanks Larry,

I'm spending the summer in Roatan, diving every day with a great little shop called Reef Gliders and unfortunately no one is going to ship down here so it looks like I'm out of luck until I get back to North America in October. It was fun while it lasted though. Got a strobe and wide angle and those shots were just starting to look great. C'est la vie I guess.

Sorry to hear about your flood.

Have you checked the office supply stores? Are you in Roatan right now? Have you thought to see if anyone could mule one down to ya? Lots of folks going to Roatan. If you find one you could have it shipped to them and they could bring it. We do stuff like that all the time for folks at CCV.

I know Cathy Church has factory refurbished ones they are selling. I am not sure how many they have left, but they may ship one to you since they are in Grand Cayman.

Glad I bought the backup when I did

Thanks for the replies. I'm only here till the end of September so I'm running out of time, but the Cathy Church option sounds like a possibility. Thanks Rich.

Anyone who knows Roatan might be interested to know that Lighthouse Restaurant in the west end burnt to the ground last night. It's still smoldering this morning. Lucky it didn't spread farther than it did with the wind we had last night and the lack of fire fighting capacity.

Try shopping on Yahoo. I just found one place---www.shopkingcamera.com----that has refurbished ones for $190.

I'll keep looking.
