One thought, can we emphasise to Phil that we're there TO SEE WHALESHARKS!! :)

Seriously, he really wanted to show us everything else last time, and to be fair, the diving was pretty hot, but the whaleshaks were the hook for me, and that's why I'm going back. That and the fact that it's a long way for me to go for two days diving - wall diving, meh, whalesharks *drool*...

If he wants to do local dives and tie up the boat, he'll need to be ready with an alternative boat. I just want to avoid the arguments of last time.

Edit. Chip, you might want to reconsider the reg. The double hose - mine at least - is a slightly harder breather than my Apeks, and these big *******s can swim, even when they're hardly trying...

i agree you should make that clear before you go. made the mistake of not doing that and ended up not getting to see the whalesharks. btw, dont they only have 5 rooms?

Cheers Caloy, but make sure he'll do it both days for days 2 & 3. Day 1 we can get there & do a local dive.

Hopefully a bit less painful this time (and I won't be looking after Karl again...).

He has since separated the business of diving and whaleshark interaction. I've emailed him about your concerns (ours :D), Larry.

Thanks koya! Think Cathy would like to share a room? :D :D :D

@ larry: I'll be trying out my RAM next week. It's been tuned so hopefully it'll breathe well. Last time did you have to pay extra for whaleshark dives?

Chip, there is a Whaleshark Safari surcharge, but given that I'm already paying quite a bit to come from Macau to Hong Kong to the Philippines, what the Hell, I'll pay for the second day, even if I do it on my own.

RAM, hey  Got any piccies? The link you sent me last time didn't work...

I now have a bunch of doubles, let me surprise you with what I bring. 1950's German Medi, 1950s Mistral, 1960's Healthways, 1950's Nemrod Snark, 1950's / 1960's / 1970's Aquamaster (got a few), Voit 50 fathom. Decisions, decisions:14:.

Or do I bring my new rebreather?:shakehead:Nope, no fills in Sogud. Bugger.

okay, that deserved a "thanks"

lol.
