Great that you had a good trip anyway. One week is, as I said, a bit optimistic for the south. If everything works out perfectly, weather co-operates and the skipper and crew drive at night ... it works. But inme things very seldom co-operate perfectly. Two weeks is the way to go if you want to factor out 'luck' as much as possible, which is not a bad idea in a place like Sudan. When conditions are right – it's one of the best.
