Sweet website. NOT! A free subdomain on a gaming website is simply lame.

Thanks so much for the links to your incorporation.

Looks like the state didn't want you to take advantage of the now-defunct Ocean Watch Foundation's good name.

I can't believe he provided links to his incorporation rejection.

Did you check your links to sunbiz before you posted them?

The spelling disorder is selective ;)
Now, as for Brett, you got uppity when you first started posting about this group and I told you you needed more info. Now, here you are, still with no information of substance on your webpage. The only links you have are two rejected filing notices from Florida Department of State Division of Corporations.
Whether you like it or not, when you tout any sort of nonprofit group and claim it to be legitimate, it needs to be backed up. REEF claims no affiliation with South Florida Ocean Watch. The State of Florida claims no knowledge of South Florida Ocean Watch. The internet shows no knowlege of YOUR Ocean Watch.
If you want people to believe that this is any sort of legitimate not-for-profit group, you need to:
1)Get a real website. The free subdomain on a gaming website is not the place for this site.
2) Add some real info. If you think that the info on the page is sufficient, you are sorely mistaken.
3) Make the partnerships you claim to have. I don't need to expound on this.
4)Use spell-check. Bill Gates gave us this precious gift so that people can get ideas across without sounding like a neanderthal.
5) Go ahead and actually make this a real not-for-profit group. I have no idea why you would post your rejections, but if I were you, I would remove the rejections. I would then do what I needed to do to make it legit.
I hope this clarifies, but this is why the responses you are getting are less than friendly, Brett.

I am going to try not to be a dick.

Lets talk about something okay like adults if some people would like to agree then keep reading....

Yes i understand the site is registered with under city gaming because i can't afford a website domain because i am not working until the summer i am going to talk to my dad about setting up a REAL website to stop all the nasty comments because it kinda hurt full. Just Because i can't afford a domain doesn't mean you have to be nasty i created this group for me and a few nice people "NICE" to join. I will be working this whole summer to raise enough money to start the website. Debby i know you probably don't know me but i dislike people who pick on me and i bet if you did had a child you would know how a parent would feel if there kid was getting picked on my uncle is very upset with my foul mouth and i will accept that i have one but he is also very disappointed with how you guys treat me. I am trying to keep him out of this but he is being a ass and wanting to join in to have a word with everyone.

I am asking everyone nicely If you don't have something nice to say well just don't say it and i am not trying to be a crybaby and i am not spoiled.

Yes my dad told me it was rejected because he got a email form the FL Corporations office and seed he fixed it so just give it time

There are lots of places to get domains for under $10. Just do a quick google search. I'm sure your father or your Coast Guard 'General' could help you out with that. We know you are 15, you have said that ad nauseam. But, for you to call people names, then ask that everybody act as adults is a little crazy. Further, if I read post 21 correctly, there was a thinly veiled threat to get the CG General involved. Not adultlike behavior at all.
If you wish to be treated as an adult, act as such.

OK.

A non-profit organization is a specific type of legal entity. You can't claim to be one unless you actually are one. In fact, although I'm not a lawyer, I'm reasonably certain that it's a crime of some sort. Just "not making money" doesn't qualify you as a non-profit.

You can't take over the name of an existing organization just by deciding to do it. It's illegal and sets off people's "BS Alert" warnings.
