I've been beach diving in Broward for decades and I know that from ANY of our beaches, if you swim east you will eventually hit a reef. Over the years I've learned where the best spots are...these are generally designated more by ease of parking than anything else!!!Hi there Debby! I'm curious as to how you find your spots. Do you start off from a known good dive site and expand out from there? Do you have a general idea of where a good reef might be? Or if you are in shallow enough water and while in your kayak you can spot a new reef line that you would like to explore?
My marked spots? Easy, when I find a good spot I hit "mark" on my GPS.
When I want to return to a marked spot, I use the GPS to navigate to it.
I love Top Spot maps but I mostly used them back when I owned a boat.
