eagle rays remain the topic offshore key largo the past few months, in particular, MOLASSES REEF. pleasant surprise this AM, zero boats moored on the south end of MO. double on our favorite buoy M19. sunny skies(sahara dust the experts say), light Southerly winds, seas 1FT. blue variable visibility 40-60FT due to brown clustered tube sponge spawning, zero current, water temp 86F @ 20-35FT. eagle rays observed during entire 3.5 hours of bottom time. very active on the reef today, groupers, schooling fish. timg with the pics,,,,,,,,,,
