eagle rays remain the topic offshore key largo the past few months, in particular, MOLASSES REEF. pleasant surprise this AM, zero boats moored on the south end of MO. double on our favorite buoy M19. sunny skies(sahara dust the experts say), light Southerly winds, seas 1FT. blue variable visibility 40-60FT due to brown clustered tube sponge spawning, zero current, water temp 86F @ 20-35FT. eagle rays observed during entire 3.5 hours of bottom time. very active on the reef today, groupers, schooling fish. timg with the pics,,,,,,,,,,

Nice, who is the diver in #7

Wow! Amazing Eagle Rays, Whitespotted Filefish is beautiful too. I'll be in Key Largo early next week but will not have an opportunity to dive the reefs while on the Spree doing the wrecks.

Good diving, Craig

Thank you Craig. This has been quite a summer for eagle rays!

Great pic's, they always make me want to book a flight to KL.
