We know they're genetic clones of the Scuberpro MK17s and MK25s, but who actually makes them? I always say same-same.

Are they made by Scuberpro? Are they made by the same folks that make regs for Scuberpro? Do Halcyon make regs for Scuberpro? Are they just real good knock offs made by somebody else in Italy?

What's the inside scoopf?

Made by Scubapro. I’ve actually seen piles of Scubapro (made in Italy) labeled “Halcyon” reg boxes at the Halcyon HQ in High Springs. On a related note, their drysuit undergarment and limited release t-shirts (at least in the past) were made by Santi. They also had a prototype Halcyon labeled Santi-made drysuit there too but it seems it never made it to market.

Johnson Outdoors owns Scubapro. Scubapro has their own production facilities in Italy. The Halcyon regulators come from the same Scubapro manufacturing facility. I think that is how it works, @Angelo Farina may know better.

THNX!
