I have tried Oceanic models and Sherwood models. I prefered the Oceanic Delta to the Sherwood.
When I bought a regulator I decided on the Apeks ATX100. I am very happy with it so far.

After 16 Pages I don't know if anyone is still reading this thread, but I've been diving an Oceanic FDX-10 with a Delta IV second stage for a year. It's not skipped a beat, breathes easy (I've dove it to 103 feetand very heavy current), and I had an annual service on it a week ago and the parts looked great after almost 50 dives.

I understand now why it's considered the best reg under $500 by SCUBA Lab.
