Hi
i was on a liveboard in gobal last spring, water was 23 Celsius and i had a 5 mm. wetsuit. Boy i was freezing after 30 minutes every dive. i blamed myself many times for leaving home my wetsuit jacket. (Back to Red Sea two weeks ago, water temperature was 27 Celsius! )
years ago I dove Brother islands in Jenuary, water was as low as 21/22 C, i felt ok in the water with a 5 mm but after surfacing i wish i had a drysuit. it was freezing cold and being wet wasn't so nice! (a couple of guys wore drysuits and they looked very, very smart )
i guess you should also consider air temperature and how many times you gonna dive everyday.
Have fun

i apologize to you all for this mistake
i tried to reply to a previous post and started a new thread
