Wow! Some one found my blog! Those pictures of the Sommes Sound dive are at the old town dump off Sargent Drive. The dive is fun, lots of golf balls and clay pigeons. Found a couple of old bottles. There is a nice place to get setup and put in right next to the water at high tide. At low tide you have to walk over some big rocks to get in. The bottom is pretty soft; however, right next to the shore there are some cool granite features.

We've been doing a lot of dives with our new dive club. The League of Underwater Superheroes. If you go to the gallery, you can see all of our recent dives. Dive Ed, the founder of the group, runs a dive charter every Sunday morning from the COA pier in Bar Harbor.

Check it out!

The sound was one dive we didn't fit into our recent trip. Next time for sure.

There is a nice wall dive on the other side of the Sound too, over in Hall Quarry. Drops up to 85'.
