iirc, the remaining inhouse manufacturing for scubapro is all located in Italy right? with supply chains as they are, would make sense EU gets stuff first

They have a very high bar to get over, to get me out of my Seawing Nova Gorilla fins...

The Quattros make: "Shulffatt, Shulffatt" sound on the surface. Very bad for surface swimming, inefficient and tiring. The Go Sport fins don't as far as I can tell so far.
To swim best on surface with fins with flutter kick, turn body a bit so fins stay in water during whole kick cycle.
I lean back with a partially inflated bc and do a modified frog kick with my Quattros. No need to flutter and burn energy. The flatter you are the more you coast. Out, in, coast... out, in, coast... out, in, coast... surface swims suck no matter how you do it though

It sucks that we can't use scooters at Edmonds Underwater Park.

I'm heading there with RS Scuba next Saturday for a shop dive and was trying to figure out a way to avoid the swim. Too bad mounting a dive flag to my double kayak isn't allowed. That would make the site much more pleasant. Should be at Redondo next Thursday evening to find me some 6 gills if my new tanks arrive in time.

I would much prefer the Deep Six Eddy Fin to the fin posted by the OP.

The SP Supernovas are in the USA catalog. They come in black and white and are (yet) another attempt at a two piece fin. They also supposedly will have an accessory full foot pocket. They also cost a bunch of money and I am just going to buy me another pair of Go-Sports but in blue .

Interesting how Scubapro is an American company yet Europe gets all the new stuff before we even know about it.

And everything Scubapro is significantly less expensive there.

I got them from Europe. I like them, definite improvement with frog kicks from the Novas. I am heading to Fiji at the end of the month and will report back how they do in current.

Another interesting thing is that in the pamphlet packaged with them there is an alternate blade that will be available at some point. It’s just labeled “s-tek”.
