I was thinking about changing my video lights, and was wondering if anyone is using the sola 800.
or is the sola 1200 the way to go ..
thanks for your input

Which camera (and lenses/ports) are you shooting with? Will the lights be used solely for macro or night dives? The 800s may be enough for that, but you are better off with the 1200s or 2000s, which have multiple power settings, giving you much longer run time (and saving full power for when the extra light is needed). My wife is happy using the Sola 2000s (mostly on middle setting) with her GoPro and I love my Sola 4000s (mostly on level 3-4) I use with my DSLR setup (used primarily for video).
