Hello Divers,

Our Spring Picnic with the Laguna Sea Dwellers is full steam ahead!
Please bring something to drink and share with the group. We expect over 30 SOCDC divers and 40 LSD divers. The new SOCDC T-Shirts will be modeled by Paul Miller and ME (your pres Konrad), sorry no attractive models were available :banana:so take a look and put in your order!!

Here are the details for the Shore Dive & Picnic:

9 AM Weekly SOCDC Shore Dive meet up at Divers Cove!!

11 AM
Picnic Meets at Heisler Park Picnic Beach at Myrtle & Cliff Drive.
Bring Quarters or Credit Cards to park close by or go North on Cliff (near Shaw's) for

free parking or East on Myrtle for free parking 3 blocks away.

Surf is 2-4 with 15 foot visibility
Weather 60 deg to 75 degrees with morning clouds = PERFECT :)

We hope to see you for a wonderful day at the beach!! :cool2:

This was what I would rank as a bad dive. The surf was on the high side, so we know the surge was going to be high. Heisler is a very shallow dive 15-25 feet so the surge stirred things up. On top of that merging the two clubs created one big group that stirred up silt big time.

Better choice would have been Deadman which is deeper, or Shaw's swimming around the reef which is also deeper.
