you are mess.

dry out the camera?

use a hair dryer or the oven on 100 degrees for a few minutes.
Now why would I have a hair dryer? No oven here either so I used the microwave. Didn't go so well.;)

Good luck, we flooded ours in fresh water and the only things we could save were the battery and the cards.

This one didnt realy flood it just leaked bad. Had less than a 1/4 inch of water in tth bottom

My C-7070 started acting weird after it got a little wet in the rain. Nothing serious, I didn't even think any water got inside. Well, that's what I thought. I've been drying it in the dry Arizona air for 2 months without success. I've given up on it and took this as the final nudge to go SLR. I'm sooooo much happier now....

Found a used replacement here fromn scubak. Got it today. She gets a 1+ user rating!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you got it wet in salt water you're likely going to need a new camera. If it was fresh water the oven idea is a sound one however it will likely take longer than an hour. If there's any water inside it will condensate on the inside of your lens and you'll have to "bake" it until the condensate is gone.
