So my 5060 got a little damp while UW last weekend and stoped working. I dried it out and it turns on and will even take a pic but as soon as I turn it on it has a series of about 15 beeps, cycles the lens beeps some more and turns off. Any ideas?

Don't own a 5060, but when my 5050 does that it's typically because the batteries are low.

The sea water grounded the battery! I'lltry that. Thanks

Charged it for a few minutes and tried it again, same thing. If it was grounded long enough, it would have baked the battery. I'm gonna try charging a little longer and try again.
Im feeling lucky today, my cell phone screen that died last week beeped twice and cam back on toady, then my camera started working , sorta, then I triped over my evening cocktail in a cheap water glass on a tile floor. It broke but stayed together! Oh ya and it was empty so no alcohol abuse here. Im on a roll tonight!
Someone buy me a power ball ticket QUICK!

Showing the bat near full and still doing it. CRAP! Any other ideas?

Can you clean the terminals with an eraser?

Will white out work?
JUST KIDDING! Yes, I cleaned them with ETOH pads.

LOL... wonder what'll be left after the oven...

(kidding - it's actually decent advice - just make sure it's not too hot!)
