One of the best dives I did was at Cenote Angelita in the Yucatan, Mexico. It was off in the middle of the jungle, a large sinkhole. It starts with a 10ft drop into the water, then 100ft of salt water (20ft viz), a few feet of hydrogen sulphide (0ft viz and smells like eggs), then another 30ft of fresh water. It is an amazing dive and when we surfaced there was a crocodile basking in the sun on the bank. We swam over to it until it dropped into the water and out of sight. Great dive.

Reading these, I need to broaden my horizons. Or maybe win the lottery. Ok.

Kapuya,

I live in South East Asia. What dive shops do you recomend in Malaysia, Sipan, Kapalai, Mabul and in the Siamil Islands? Who booked your trip or did you make your own arrangements? I know you had 150' Vis but how was the diving compaired to Egypt, Puerto Rico, and Belize?
