I was talking to the LDS today about some steel 98's or E7s and they are telling me they can't get anything untill June? Is everyone having problems or has the LDS made an order and don't want to ship more in untill the next order?

Jody

I knew about the E8's, new tank and all no problem. But no OMS or Faber either?? Sounds wrong to me.

Not Faber ... at least not in my experience. I ordered an LP95 about three weeks ago and it arrived in five days.

Yep, E7-120s and E8-119 and I think E8-130's are on backorder for at least another few months unless you find someone with them in stock. If you do a search for E8-130 or E7-120 you may find some threads discussing this already.
I just picked up a PST E8-119 from my LDS last week for $304. without tax. They said the E-8's were going up $20-24 due to a steel increase. They did have in stock as of yesterday (Fri 4/9) one more E-8 119 (I told my buddy to grab but he won't listen) and two OMS Fabers 98's on the floor. If you want the contact info just let me know I think they OMS 98's were about $30-40 dollars cheaper if you want the contact info let me know. They are in NJ.

Steel prices
I'm in the swimming pool industry and all of our suppliers are sending out letters informing of giant price increases and supply problems getting steel. Some vendors will not hold a quote for even 24 hours! It seems that China is sucking up all the steel they can find. If a manufacturer did'nt see this coming and lock in contracts months ago, they would certainly have been caught right in the middle. My advice is get it now, it will only get worse.
Rob.
