So what are some of you guys winter diving plans?

Hey, did you make that trip Sunday to Lake Elmer Thomas? the report was pretty good concerning vis. One of these days we should try to get in a couple of dives there and then go get a buffalo burger at Meers.

Forget that cold stuff!! I am headed to southern Brasil on Dec 10 for my cousins wedding on the 12 and diving the Ilha Arvoredo with the turtles after that. It's 30-50 ft with 60-ish ft viz but turtles, turtles, turtles Should be a fun time before I head inland to the city to party with other fam

Blackbeard Cruise out of Freeport. Leaving the day after Thanksgiving. The best part about a sailboat is that the port engine won't blow up the day before we get there.

I also plan some dark cold dives sometime soon in southern Oklahoma. Interested in joining in Alan?

I couldn't find Meers when i was there, i definitely think i need to go back with you guys when you go...i'll get a better idea of the layout.


Other than exploring Murray more, i'm planning on doing a Polar Bear dive in CSSP in December, then doing a Balmorheah backpack/dive weekend while i'm on Christmas break. Also, i'd be up for Valhalla again if anybody wanted to come with.

My wife won a Blackbeard cruise for the Dive across Texas program We are set to go in January.But week after next.....Belize.

Kunk35 is going to be taking a couple of dips out at Texoma, and we're planning on going up to Murray for New Years eve, just like last year. Frank? Richerso? Craig? You guys need to come to Murray on New Years, we'll make it our second annual Murray Polar Bear 5K! After that, we're headed to Balmorhea over spring break (finally!) Really not much winter diving planned. I refuse to wear the dreaded hooded vest, so I'm on strike until I get a drysuit. In fact, I'm selling my hooded vest, and 7 mil gloves, if anyone is interested. I did see some zip up vests the other day down at International Scuba that looked very appealing. We'll see.
