TLada:Oh - and back when I was diving more, there wasnt a trimix computer available. The Abyss was in prototype and was about $1400.00. It was much easier to use proplan and laminate the tables to put in your wetsuit, or tape them to your fin.
I bought the Zeagle Status II for a 2 gas nitrox computer - I still have it. I just bought the Nitek 3 as an upgrade for recreational tech diving, and am considering a trimix compter. But I dont think I will be doing all that much trimix diving in my future, I'm creeping up on 46 years old now - and the tanks are getting too heavy, and I'm terribly out of shape.
Does this explain things better?
I currently dive the OMS IQ pac, 94# bladder and either AL80 or Lp steel 72's. Out here OMS rules the roost with a few DiveRite thrown in. I can't give a higher recomendation for OMS.......Top quality and ultimately professional. And a great website.Jerryg:I haven't heard any discussion on OMS. What are your opinions on there gear. I'm just begining my "research" into a BP/W. Thanks
